Tia Sadie is an ethical fashion brand founded by stylist Sadie Tidland, in Encinitas, California. This company offers bespoke one-of-a-kind leather hand bags and accessories made completely by hand in Guatemala. A portion of all proceeds goes back to this community and Tia Sadie ensures that all workers are provided safe working conditions and a fair wage. We created an approachable and down to earth brand, strengthened the social media presence and engagement, and made her store easily shoppable from instagram and facebook. These integrations have grown her brand from 2,000 followers to nearly 7,000 real followers in less than 6 months. She has been able to stay in business during the Global pandemic by strengthening her online presence and sales avenues.
"Tia" means aunt
Sadie has been volunteering her skills to the community of Sumpango, Guatemala, providing haircuts for the orphan children who are HIV positive. The members of this community quickly took to calling her “tia,” which in Spanish means aunt.
